Featured here is a European mid-century standard, an Emsa Isolier-Star insulated thermos pitcher carafe. Made in West Germany, this line of pitchers has a copper interior with an inset plastic insulation to keep your beverage at its temperature. The lid has a thumb release, as well a spring-action finial that you can tighten to lock the lid closed and prevent leakage. The exterior is a classic brown with speckled beige atop it. There is some general wear and scuffs, some label remnants, but the interior actually looks really great, there is some staining to the plastic grommet but no old coffee smell or odor. Holds 1 quart/4 cups. See pictures for closer detail. Measures just under 10” tall, just under 7” wide from spout to handle, and weighs just under 2 lbs. prior to packaging.
