Emsa Thermomatic Insulated Cobalt Blue Thermos

Emsa 'Thermomatic' vacuum jug / pitcher / carafe from the 1990s is made from translucent blue acrylic and has a silver colored chromium plated ABS handle and spout, a polypropylene base, and a synthetic rubber seal. The jug is lined with double-walled Rosalinie-hardglass designed to keep liquids hot or cold. Made in Germany (marked on the bottom). Beautiful modern design. Cobalt blue colored acrylic over silver thermal core makes almost a glowing effect. This model is featured in Museum Of Design In Plastics. Approximate dimensions: Bottom Diameter 5.5". Height 10". Weight - almost 2 lb. Great Vintage Condition. Some marks / light scratches on blue acrylic due to age. Looks like it was a display item or rarely used.
