5x K-Type Thermocouple TC-1 for Digital Thermometer - set of 5 single k type thermocouple with miniature connector - -328 to 399°F (-200 to 204°C) This is a set of two reliable k-type wire thermocouples TC-1 with a standard k-type sensor. The sensor bead is at the tip of a 3 ft long wire probe, which has a green FEP plastic coating. This teflon FEP based insulation is easier to clean than fiber glass insulation and can be used up to 399 degree Fahrenheit, or 204 degree Celsius. The thermocouple has a miniature k-type connector that will work with digital K-type thermometers of many manufacturers, such as Fluke, Omega, Testo, BK Precision, and Nicety. This fast reacting k type thermocouple is made from very thin k-type sensor wire, the thermocouple wire diameter is approximately AWG 30 (0.25 mm), this will give you very quick temperature readings. This probe can used to measure air or gas temperatures, it can be attached to pipes or embedded into objects you want to measure. It also can be used in non-corrosive liquids, such as water that does not have much salt or acid in it. This K-type thermocouple TC-1 will read very low temperatures and can be used for cryogenics with liquid nitrogen or dry ice, as long as you have a suitable digital thermometer. I have tested this down to -328°F (-200°C) with my thermometer Nicety DT1311 and DT1312. The Nicety DT804 and DT804A only measure to -58°F / -50 °C .
