Lot Qty (2) Thermo MaxQ 4000 Orbital Shakers FOR PARTS Please Read Below.
Unit 1 is Model 4342 and has refrigeration which seems to work. The last two pictures are screenshots from a video showing the decreased temperature inside the chamber.
Unit 1 has a broken lid on the left side. It is taped together.
The gas shocks on unit 1 do not hold the lid upright.
Unit 1 only has one fan blowing, the other doesn’t work.
Unit one appears to have an aftermarket on/off switch mounted on the left side above the manufacture sticker.
You seem to have to long-press the soft power button on the front panel of Unit 1.
Unit 1 shakes and the lid switch works.
Unit 1 was used much more and there are various masking- and lab tape residues on the glassware holders.
Unit 2 DOES NOT power on. It is model 4328 WITHOUT refrigeration.
Unit 2 shows much less use with virtually no stains inside.
