This is a New Thermo Fisher Scientific Freezer TSX2320FA (Needs some cosmetic repair). Item Description: New item that needs some repair to the top on the back of the unit (something must have fallen against it during shipment)
It looks like the damage is cosmetic with no internal damage
We plugged the unit in for 24 hours and it cooled to -19.2 degrees. When the key is turned to alarm on, the red alarm light on the right of the display alternates with a green blinking light on the top of the temperature gauge. Also, a light comes on that indicates the backup battery is low. We have included pictures showing this process. Please let us know if you have any further questions.
