Will chart temperature from -200C to +25C depending on the chart paper used. The device runs on 9V battery and AC wall power. When plugged in the device powers on and the stylus calibrates to the proper temperature position on the chart. This device uses 6 in. charts and can record a 7-day history. I let the device run for a couple days and it accurately charted the temperature changes over time. The device can be utilized from countertop placement or wall mounted and the temperature probe can be deployed using its 12 ft cord. The door to change the chart paper opens and magnetically closes as intended and the glass viewing port is without scratches.
