The T3 M17 & M18 unit is a one-piece condenser, evaporator, heater assembly specifically designed to fit the air conditioning compartment of the Flexible Metro Coach and interface with in-coach components such as the compressor, floor heater, coolant valves and boost pump.  System eletrical controls, relays, circuit breakers, compressor control switch and return air thermostat are located on a control panel in the evaporator/heater air area and are accessible from inside thebus.  A harness connector is located on the street side of the unit and connects to the bus electrical circurity.
