The MaxQ 4450 is a reliable Incubator Orbital Shaker designed for small quantities and convenience. This benchtop incubator shaker is ideal for cell culture, protein expression, the extraction process, and much more. The inner chamber of this incubator shaker can handle four 1-liter flasks on the 11 X 13 in the platform while being small enough to fit on a standard lab bench. The Thermo MaxQ 4450 Orbital Shaker has a triple eccentric drive with a maximum capacity load of 35lbs and moves at speeds up to 400 RPM.
This easy-to-use Incubator Shaker has a temperature range of 5°C above ambient to 80°C, plugs into a standard 115V outlet, and complies with cUL, CE, and UL listings. The system comes with PID micro processing controls situated on the front of the instrument for easy access. These independent controls can program users desired temperature, time up to 1 hour, and speed. The timer function allows users to choose either elapsed time to track how long a session has been shaking or as a count down after which the system will turn off. The microprocessor control also features an alarm system for temperature or speed deviations from the set point.
