This auction is for a Thermo Oriel Model 79111 Direct Trigger Nitrogen Laser. This laser emits UV radiation at 337.1nm in  5 nanosecond FWHM pulses at up to a 50 Hz repetition rate. "This instrument was designed to provide you with maintenance free performance, other than the annual checks listed in the safety section, for over 10^6 shots.  Hard seal construction of the laser tube and the permanently aligned, sealed cavity optics will provide long shelf life for your laser. DC heated thyratron high voltage switch should last in excess of 10^6 shots and provide extremely low jittering, unaffected by the mains frequency."
