This cryostat microtome has fully independent temperature controls for specimens and minimized temperature gain during prolonged usage. This ergonomic cryostat is comfortable to use, with a light balanced feel when cutting in precise measurements from 0-30 microns, in 1-micron steps. This E model features a digital micron selector control that displays the thickness of sections being taken in microns for precise reproduction. The timer function on the digital control panels allows users to set their defrost times and fumigation for disinfection. On the control panel users will also find buttons for immediate defrost and fumigation, cancel buttons for each function, and cryobar boost to turn on the Peltier element for 10 minutes. The Cryotome E has advanced specimen head control with buttons for rewind and advance, and fast versions of each.
