because the removed the freon air cooler so that's a reason it's not cool & on the top of the cover glass is dents. SALE IT AS IS This centrifuge was recently purchased from a local university facility which was removing excess laboratory equipment. FUNCTION: The controls are responsive and are easily adjusted. The display is bright and easy to read. This centrifuge reaches set point speed quickly. The motor comes on strong and sounds healthy. This centrifuge was found to not cool properly. Could be an easy replaced for someone who is familiar with working on this type of equipment. Could be a great source of parts for your current centrifuge
