Siemens (Thermo) EPD1-D Dosimeter Radiation Detector High Range Anti-EMP Rewired.
EPD1-D modded to use 10440 lithium batteries. One battery included which can be recharged with a 10440 charger. Also includes original box, triangle screw driver, and the starting pin. To start the unit, unscrew the back and place a pin into both the reset and start hole at once.
The dose rate and all other features are UNLOCKED on these units. The HS sensors are enabled but not HP.
This devices can measure radiation up to 16.77 Sv/hr and is suitable for use after a radiological event. They also have good resistance to EMPs. In this price range, this is the best detector you can buy for emergencies.
