Here we have two of the creepiest vintage clowns around! Both are from the same home, which was smoke-free, and my home is also smoke-free. The vinyl clown face is marked "NY TOY" and "1963" The 12 inch high blow mold clown bank is marked "AZCO" which I believe was AZCO products of Pawtucket, RI. Based on the estate this came from where all of the toys were 1960s, I believe this one is also the same time period, but I'm not certain. Blow mold clown has squished in nose and paint missing from his nose. Blow mold clown bank also has a missing stopper on the bottom, so they stuck a very old Thermos Brand cork in the bottom. Clown bank has some yellowing on the front as if some varnish was put on the front and has yellowed. He would be a great one to uncork and put a light under! Vinyl clown face could be Bozo the Clown, I'm not sure. He is stained and spotted here and there, including a couple of hot pink marks on his left cheek/chin area. He has a musty odor to him. He is quite dirty on the inside, despite a cleaning with warm water and Dawn. I've also got baking soda dusting around inside him to try to help with the smell. He could have been a child's puppet, as I'm able to get my hand in him and move his facial expressions around. He could definitely light up by putting him on the end of a flashlight or some other way.
